Between Economy & Desire

The incessant impact of the urban realm intensifies the tension between the destructive and constructive instincts inherent to existence. The continuous and accelerating cycles of personal interaction and personal reflections accentuate the degree to which one is isolated and one is exposed. Linking this cycle to the constructive/destructive aspects of the psychological construction of the bite. Eat-in-Diner Bookstore uses the nature of the diner as the zone of social interaction inhabiting the street wall. It plays with its counterpart bookstore, an introspective retreat inhabiting the thickened party wall beyond.
