Porta Pod
a place for web access, media immersion, reading and of course relief. The office takes advantage of the panelized nature of the portapod to create variously scaled programmatic combinations of private spaces. The temporary nature of the installation is recalled by the typically temporary use of the portapod. Removing any or all of the 4 paneled walls of the pod allows endless combinations. Once combined, the seemingly private space of a pod is open to four, five and six pods, presenting the user with a new perception of the once very personal space.
